Most of us have experienced a therapist or two in our lives. Many are well-meaning and can more or less identify the problem, but lack the tools to practically explain much less lead the client down a path of healing. When in crisis, this only adds to a sense of being lost at sea.
Then along comes Cynthia Chapman. She is a friend I can trust with my best and my worst. She’s like a big sister who knows me, will always be there, and has my back no matter how bad or painful the situation. She is a sister in the Lord and prays for me and gives me wise, Godly guidance from His word. She is the doctor you have to have when the chips are down with the technical skills to address any mental health challenge with grace and confidence. Over the years I’ve worked through some very difficult challenges with Cynthia’s help, and my goodness there have been some doozies. She’s walked me through some very tricky anxiety. I owe many important parts of my life to her and she’s just an extraordinary human being. Over the past 20 years that I’ve known Cynthia, she’s the only therapist that I’ve recommended. I’ve been blessed to have her in my corner, and by His grace and often times in spite of me, my life has changed. Grateful!
